MobileCollect Firmware & Setup Program Update

New firmware is available for the MobileCollect Command Mobile Module (MC-MM-DC) and the MobileCollect RS-232 V2 Mobile Module (MC-MM-V2). Firmware 5.36 was made available on December 20, 2024 and can be downloaded here.

In tandem with the firmware update both MobileCollect Xpress Setup and MobileCollect Extended Setup have been updated. MobileCollect Xpress Setup 1.6.0.80 was released on December 10, 2024 and MobileCollect Extended Setup 4.3.0.142  was released on December 10, 2024.

What’s new?

MobileCollect Command and RS-232 V2 Mobile Modules can now be configured to send the absolute value of the gage reading into any software application. This update was made to make integrating into various SPC software applications that do not expect a negative value more seamless.

How do I utilize the absolute value feature?

To use this new feature, head to either MobileCollect Xpress Setup or MobileCollect Extended Setup and configure the “Read Mode” of the Mobile Module. Note: You must have the most recent setup software and firmware running on your devices.
