The Mitutoyo 06AGL011 is the Digimatic SPC data cable for NX-series ID-C and ID-F indicators and other high-accuracy Mitutoyo gages that communicate via the Digimatic D2 and S1 protocols using the Type SF connector. Connects to any GageWay wired interface or MobileCollect Digital Remote to route measurement data directly to your SPC software.

The Mitutoyo 06AGL011 is Mitutoyo’s Digimatic SPC data cable for high-accuracy gages that use the Type SF connector and communicate via the Digimatic D2 and S1 protocols — including NX-series ID-C and ID-F indicators introduced in 2023. When connected to a GageWay wired interface or MobileCollect Digital Remote, it passes measurement data directly from your gage to a PC, eliminating manual data entry and the transcription nonconformances that come with it.
This is not a standalone product. The 06AGL011 cable terminates at a gage interface — a GageWay or Digital Remote sits between the cable and your computer and is required to pass data to any SPC software or collection application. If you’re not sure which interface fits your setup, the two most common configurations are detailed below.

The 06AGL011 cable is the standard connection cable for the full GageWay wired interface product line. GageWay interfaces support the Mitutoyo Digimatic output natively — no baud rate configuration or communication parameters required. Plug the 06AGL011 into the gage input port on your GageWay, connect the interface to your PC via USB, and the gage is online.
GageWay Pro2, Pro4, Pro8 — Multi-channel interfaces supporting 2, 4, or 8 gages simultaneously via a single USB connection. Both USB keyboard wedge and USB serial outputs are built in. The Pro series includes configurable read switch ports, data parsing, TIR measurement modes, and AutoBaud detection for RS-232 devices. Best fit for fixed inspection stations, multi-gage measurement cells, and control plan implementations under ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or AS9100D where measurement traceability and process integration requirements are defined.
GageWay SM — Single-gage interface with USB serial output. Outputs to any SPC application monitoring a COM port. Pre-configured for Mitutoyo Digimatic gages — plug-and-play with no parameter setup.
GageWay KW — Single-gage interface with keyboard wedge output. Sends measurement data as keystrokes into Excel, cloud-based SPC platforms, or any application that accepts keyboard input.
Note: The 06AGL011 and 06AGL021 are the same cable in different lengths — 1 meter and 2 meter respectively. Choose the length appropriate for your station layout.
If your Mitutoyo ID-C or ID-F indicator predates the 2023 NX-series update, the 06AGL011 is not the correct cable. Pre-2023 ID-C and ID-F indicators use the Type F SPC connector and standard Digimatic protocol rather than the Type SF / D2 / S1 combination. The correct cable for those instruments is the Mitutoyo 905338.
The same applies to Mitutoyo height gages (570 series), depth gages, scale units (572 series), and thickness gages — those continue to use the original Type F connector and the 905338 SPC cable.

The 06AGL011 is also compatible with the MobileCollect Digital Remote for installations where the gage is stationary and wired into a MobileCollect system rather than a standalone GageWay interface. The Digital Remote provides two-way Digimatic communication — it can receive measurement data from the gage and initiate readings remotely, similar in function to the Command Mobile Module but over a wired connection.
This configuration is most applicable for fixed measurement stations integrated into a larger MobileCollect Wireless network, where the gage itself doesn’t move but the data still needs to route through the MobileCollect infrastructure. For the majority of single-station or multi-station wired setups, a GageWay interface is the more direct and cost-effective path.
