The MicroRidge G-LP-MIT-P is a MicroRidge-designed and manufactured Digimatic interface cable for the CDI Logic Plus — engineered to power the gage directly from the interface, eliminating the need for a separate gage battery. Outputs in Mitutoyo Digimatic compatible format. Compatible with GageWay Pro series, GageWay KW, and MobileCollect Digital Remote. Available in 6-foot length.
A compatible gage interface is required — this cable does not connect directly to a PC. — See our gage interface guide

The G-LP-MIT-P is a MicroRidge-designed and manufactured interface cable specifically for the CDI Logic Plus gage in applications where powering the gage from the interface is preferred. Rather than relying on a gage battery, the G-LP-MIT-P routes power from the connected GageWay or Digital Remote interface to the gage through the cable — keeping the gage continuously powered at a fixed measurement station without battery maintenance.
This is not a standalone product. The G-LP-MIT-P cable terminates at a gage interface — a GageWay or Digital Remote sits between the cable and your computer and is required to pass data to any SPC software or collection application. If you need the Logic Plus cable without interface power, see the G-LP-MIT instead.
The G-LP-MIT-P and the G-LP-MIT are both compatible with the CDI Logic Plus and use the same Mitutoyo Digimatic compatible output format. The difference is power delivery:
The G-LP-MIT-P (this cable) powers the gage from the interface. This is the preferred choice for fixed measurement stations where the gage remains plugged in continuously — eliminating the need to monitor or replace the gage battery and reducing the risk of mid-shift measurement interruptions due to a dead battery.
The G-LP-MIT is also compatible with CDI Logic IQ, Logic ALG, Logic Basic, and Starrett 2700 gages in addition to the Logic Plus, and does not supply interface power — the gage runs on its own battery. Best for handheld or portable setups where the gage moves between measurement points.
If you are running the Logic Plus in a fixed station with continuous operation requirements, the G-LP-MIT-P is the correct cable.
The G-LP-MIT-P is designed specifically for the CDI Logic Plus digital indicator used in wired, stationary measurement setups where continuous interface power is required.

The G-LP-MIT-P cable is the standard connection cable for the full GageWay wired interface product line. GageWay interfaces support the Mitutoyo Digimatic output natively — no baud rate configuration or communication parameters required. Plug the G-LP-MIT-P into the gage input port on your GageWay, connect the interface to your PC via USB, and the gage is online.
GageWay Pro2, Pro4, Pro8 — Multi-channel interfaces supporting 2, 4, or 8 gages simultaneously via a single USB connection. Both USB keyboard wedge and USB serial outputs are built in. The Pro series includes configurable read switch ports, data parsing, TIR measurement modes, and AutoBaud detection for RS-232 devices. Best fit for fixed inspection stations, multi-gage measurement cells, and control plan implementations under ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or AS9100D where measurement traceability and process integration requirements are defined.
GageWay KW — Single-gage interface with keyboard wedge output. Sends measurement data as keystrokes into Excel, cloud-based SPC platforms, or any application that accepts keyboard input.
Note: The G-LP-MIT-P is not compatible with the GageWay SM (USB serial output). If you are using a GageWay SM, use the G-LP-MIT instead and power the gage from its battery.
The G-LP-MIT-P is available in 6-foot length only. If you need a custom length, contact us at sales@microridge.com.
The G-LP-MIT-P is also compatible with the MobileCollect Digital Remote for installations where the gage is stationary and wired into a MobileCollect system rather than a standalone GageWay interface. The Digital Remote provides two-way Digimatic communication — it can receive measurement data from the gage and initiate readings remotely, similar in function to the Command Mobile Module but over a wired connection.
This configuration is most applicable for fixed measurement stations integrated into a larger MobileCollect Wireless network, where the gage itself doesn’t move but the data still needs to route through the MobileCollect infrastructure. For the majority of single-station or multi-station wired setups, a GageWay interface is the more direct and cost-effective path.
The G-LP-MIT-P is a wired-only cable — there is no wireless M3 or DC connector equivalent that supplies interface power to the CDI Logic Plus. If your application requires wireless SPC data collection from a Logic Plus or other CDI Logic gage, see the M3 Connector — CDI Logic IQ & Logic ALG or the DC Connector — CDI Logic IQ & Logic ALG  which supports the Logic Plus running on its own gage battery in a wireless setup.
