The G-EXT-8 adds cable length between a Mitutoyo 10-pin Digital Interface cable and your MicroRidge gage interface. It is compatible with any Digital Interface cable — Mitutoyo or non-Mitutoyo — that uses a Mitutoyo Digimatic 10-pin connector on the interface end, including cables for Mahr Federal, CDI, Starrett, and Kroeplin gages. It inserts in-line at the interface end — useful when workstation layout, fixture placement, or measurement station configuration puts the interface out of standard cable reach.
Wired male-to-female with all 10 pins connected, the G-EXT-8 maintains full signal integrity across the Digimatic interface.

It inserts in-line at the interface end of the gage cable and is compatible with GageWay Pro, GageWay SM, GageWay KW, and MobileCollect Digital Remote.
Can I use more than one G-EXT-8 to get additional length? Custom lengths are available. If your application requires more than 8 ft of extension, contact us to discuss a custom cable length rather than stacking multiple extension cables.
Does the G-EXT-8 work with all MicroRidge gage cables? The G-EXT-8 is compatible with Digital Interface cables that use a Mitutoyo Digimatic 10-pin connector on the interface end. It is not compatible with V2, M3, or DC connector cables, or with the G-ONOSOK-6.
