The MicroRidge G-ONOSOK-6 is a MicroRidge-designed and manufactured interface cable for Ono Sokki digital indicators — connecting via the gage’s custom ribbon cable connector and outputting in Ono Sokki’s proprietary data format. Compatible exclusively with the GageWay KW, GageWay Pro2/Pro4/Pro8 and MobileCollect Digital Remote. Available in 6-foot length.
A GageWay Pro or GageWay KW interface is required — this cable is not compatible with the GageWay SM. The gage extension cable (G-EXT) must not be used with this cable.

The G-ONOSOK-6 is a MicroRidge-designed and manufactured interface cable that connects Ono Sokki digital indicators to the GageWay Pro series, GageWay KW, and MobileCollect Digital Remote for automated SPC data collection. MicroRidge developed this cable to bridge the Ono Sokki indicator’s custom ribbon cable output port to the GageWay Pro’s configurable input — enabling wired SPC data collection from a gage family that does not output standard Mitutoyo Digimatic format.
This is not a standalone product, and it is not compatible with all GageWay interfaces. The G-ONOSOK-6 outputs in Ono Sokki’s proprietary data format, which is supported by the GageWay Pro series, GageWay KW, and MobileCollect Digital Remote. It is not compatible with the GageWay SM. A compatible interface is required to pass data to any SPC software or collection application.
Important: The gage extension cable (G-EXT) must not be used with this cable. Using the G-EXT with the G-ONOSOK-6 will result in a non-functional connection.
The G-ONOSOK-6 is designed for Ono Sokki digital indicators equipped with the custom ribbon cable SPC output port (connector reference: 963B).

The G-ONOSOK-6 cable is the standard connection cable for the full GageWay wired interface product line. GageWay interfaces support the Mitutoyo Digimatic output natively — no baud rate configuration or communication parameters required. Plug the G-ONOSOK-6 into the gage input port on your GageWay, connect the interface to your PC via USB, and the gage is online.
GageWay Pro2, Pro4, Pro8 — Multi-channel interfaces supporting 2, 4, or 8 gages simultaneously via a single USB connection. Both USB keyboard wedge and USB serial outputs are built in. The Pro series includes configurable read switch ports, data parsing, TIR measurement modes, and AutoBaud detection for RS-232 devices. Best fit for fixed inspection stations, multi-gage measurement cells, and control plan implementations under ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or AS9100D where measurement traceability and process integration requirements are defined.
GageWay KW — Single-gage interface with keyboard wedge output. Sends measurement data as keystrokes into Excel, cloud-based SPC platforms, or any application that accepts keyboard input.
Note: The G-ONOSOK-6 is not compatible with the GageWay SM. The GageWay SM supports Mitutoyo Digimatic format only.

The G-ONOSOK-6 is also compatible with the MobileCollect Digital Remote for installations where the gage is stationary and wired into a MobileCollect system rather than a standalone GageWay interface. The Digital Remote provides two-way Digimatic communication — it can receive measurement data from the gage and initiate readings remotely, similar in function to the Command Mobile Module but over a wired connection.
This configuration is most applicable for fixed measurement stations integrated into a larger MobileCollect Wireless network, where the gage itself doesn’t move but the data still needs to route through the MobileCollect infrastructure. For the majority of single-station or multi-station wired setups, a GageWay interface is the more direct and cost-effective path.
If your measurement application is better served by wireless SPC data collection, MicroRidge offers a wireless connector alternative for the same Ono Sokki digital indicator gage family:
M3 Connector — Ono Sokki AA-963B — For the Mini Mobile Module (M3) wireless transmitter. Readings are triggered from the transmitter body. Best for handheld or portable gages used across multiple measurement points. The Ono Sokki connector requires a legacy Mini Mobile Module M3 transmitter and is not compatible with the Mini Mobile Module EVO M3E.
