The M3 Wireless Connector for Mitutoyo 905691 gages is the link between your Mitutoyo Digimatic indicator and the MobileCollect Wireless measurement collection system. Once connected, measurement data transmits wirelessly from the gage to your SPC software — no manual data entry, no transcription errors, no clipboard in between.
This connector attaches directly to your indicator’s Digimatic output port and plugs into a Mini Mobile Module EVO (M3E) transmitter — together, they replace the standard Mitutoyo 905691 cable with a compact wireless setup. Each reading transmits wirelessly from the Mini Mobile Module EVO to a MobileCollect Base receiver connected to your PC or data collection workstation.
The 905691 is the right angle version of the 905338 (MC-M3-905338) straight connector. Both cables connect to the same Mitutoyo indicators — the difference is the physical orientation of the connector at the gage. Choose the 90° version (905691) when a straight cable would interfere with fixturing, workholding, or operator access. The shorter 3.25″ cable length also reduces bulk on the gage in tight setups.

MobileCollect is a brand-agnostic measurement collection platform — it doesn’t lock you into a single gage manufacturer. Whether your shop floor runs Mitutoyo calipers alongside Mahr micrometers, Starrett indicators, or Fowler height gages, MobileCollect connects them all into a single wireless SPC data network. This connector is one component in that system. To complete the wireless link, pair it with a Mini Mobile Module EVO transmitter (MC-MM-M3-EVO) and a MobileCollect Base Receiver.
This is the M3 variant of this cable. It uses a 2×3, 6-pin connector that plugs into the Mini Mobile Module transmitter.
Transmitter compatibility: This M3 cable is fully compatible with both the current Mini Mobile Module EVO M3E transmitter and the retired M3 transmitter. No adapter, firmware change, or configuration required — it plugs directly into either.

This cable supports TriggerSync. TriggerSync is a measurement mode where a reading is triggered from the MobileCollect Base Receiver or directly from your SPC application, without a manual button press at the gage. TriggerSync will enable automated data collection across all of your digital gages. This feature is currently under development and scheduled for release in Q3 2026.
