The M3 Wireless Connector for Mitutoyo 905338 gages is the link between your Mitutoyo Digimatic indicator and the MobileCollect Wireless measurement collection system. Once connected, measurement data transmits wirelessly from the gage to your SPC software — no manual data entry, no transcription errors, no clipboard in between.
This connector attaches directly to your indicator’s Digimatic output port and plugs into a Mini Mobile Module EVO (M3) transmitter — together, they replace the standard Mitutoyo 905338 SPC cable with a compact wireless setup. Each reading transmits wirelessly from the Mini Mobile Module EVO to a MobileCollect Base receiver connected to your PC or data collection workstation.

The MC-M3-905338 is compatible with Mitutoyo Digimatic indicators that use the 905338 straight cable connection. This is the standard SPC cable used on many popular Mitutoyo Digimatic indicators.

If you purchased a Mitutoyo ID-C or ID-F indicator from the 543-70X, 543-71X, 543-72X, or 543-73X series (introduced in 2023), this is not the correct connector. Those updated NX-series indicators replaced the Type F SPC port with Mitutoyo’s new Type SF connector, which supports the higher-resolution Digimatic D2 and bidirectional S1 protocols. The connector on this page (905338) is for all pre-2023 ID-C and ID-F indicators, as well as height gages (570 series), depth gages, scale units (572 series), and thickness gages that continue to use the original Type F connector.
The 905338 connector does not include a built-in data send button — readings are triggered from the Mini Mobile Module EVO. If your application requires a button on the cable to trigger readings at the gage — common with indicators mounted in fixtures, installed in automated inspection stations, or used in repetitive go/no-go checks where operators need one-handed data capture — you can use the 959149 connector (straight) or the 04AZB512 connector (right angle) on the same Digimatic output port. Both include a built-in data send button and are compatible with the indicators that use the 905338 cable.

DC Connector — Mitutoyo 905338 — For the Command Mobile Module wireless transmitter. Use the Command Mobile Module when you need two-way wireless communication — for example, triggering gage readings across multiple transmitters simultaneously from the MobileCollect Base or your SPC software. This is common on large fixtures or multi-point measurement setups where operators can’t physically press each gage’s data send button.
OEM SPC Cable — Mitutoyo 905338 — For wired connections to the Digital Remote or GageWay interfaces. The Digital Remote provides two-way communication similar to the Command Mobile Module but over a wired connection — ideal for stationary measurement stations. Also compatible with all GageWay wired gage interfaces.
MobileCollect is a brand-agnostic measurement collection platform — it doesn’t lock you into a single gage manufacturer. Whether your shop floor runs Mitutoyo calipers alongside Mahr micrometers, Starrett indicators, or Fowler height gages, MobileCollect connects them all into a single wireless SPC data network. This connector is one component in that system. To complete the wireless link, pair it with a Mini Mobile Module EVO transmitter (MC-MM-M3-EVO) and a MobileCollect Base Receiver.
This is the M3 variant of this cable. It uses a 2×3, 6-pin connector that plugs into the Mini Mobile Module transmitter.
Transmitter compatibility: This M3 cable is fully compatible with both the current Mini Mobile Module EVO M3E transmitter and the retired M3 transmitter. No adapter, firmware change, or configuration required — it plugs directly into either.

This cable supports TriggerSync. TriggerSync is a measurement mode where a reading is triggered from the MobileCollect Base Receiver or directly from your SPC application, without a manual button press at the gage. TriggerSync will enable automated data collection across all of your digital gages. This feature is currently under development and scheduled for release in Q3 2026.
