WedgeLink SP QuickStart Guide

Let's start by communicating with the WedgeLink SP

Note: The WedgeLink SP Baud rate is not configurable and must be ordered to match the Baud rate of your RS-232 Device. 

Keyboard Wedge Connection

  1. Plug the WedgeLink SP into a USB port on your computer.
  2. Plug a gage into the RS-232 DB9 connection. 
  3. Open Excel, Word, Notepad or your target application to verify you can get a reading from the connected RS-232 device. 
  4. Take a reading from your RS-232 device by pressing the “send data” button.
  5. You should see the reading come into the application you’re using for testing. Be sure to give the test application the focus by clicking on it.
  6. Your WedgeLink SP is ready for years of work!
