CFAM Electronics, the French manufacturer of the Digipratic Digimatic multiplexer, has ceased operations. If your facility relies on a Digipratic for multi-channel Digimatic data collection, you’re now facing an unsupported instrument with no path to firmware updates, replacement units, or technical support: a real risk for any quality system relying on continuous, auditable measurement data collection (ISO 9001 Clause 7.1.5, IATF 16949).
MicroRidge has stepped in as the direct replacement source. The GageWay Pro series matches the Digipratic’s core function (consolidating multiple Digimatic gage channels into a single computer interface) while closing several gaps in flexibility, scalability, and software control.

Is the CFAM Electronics Digipratic still available?
— No. CFAM Electronics has ceased operations, and the Digipratic is no longer manufactured or supported. There is no official replacement part or firmware support path from CFAM.
Will my existing Digimatic gages work with GageWay Pro without modification?
— Yes. GageWay Pro accepts standard Digimatic output directly, the same protocol your gages use with the Digipratic.
Can GageWay Pro handle more channels than my current Digipratic setup?
— Yes. GageWay Pro4 and Pro8 units can be chained for up to 72 channels total, versus the Digipratic’s 16-channel maximum.
Does GageWay Pro require special software to replace Digipratic functionality?
— GageWay Pro includes free Setup Software for channel configuration. No proprietary CFAM software is required.
Can GageWay Pro replicate min/max dual-comparator measurement cycles like the Digipratic?
— Yes. For dynamic measurements using two comparators within a defined timeframe (foot-switch-triggered start/stop, with min/max value capture per cycle), GageWay Pro’s TIR Read mode is built for this. Each channel can be configured independently, so a two-comparator setup can run TIR Read on both inputs, each triggered by its own read switch and pressed together by the operator, with digital output of the captured min/max values to your SPC or data acquisition software. Hello,
We are very interested in your GageWay Pro as a replacement for our CFAM Digipratic devices and for other new needs.
One of our requirements is to perform dynamic measurements with two comparators within a given timeframe (start and end of measurement via foot-switch activation) and to retrieve (digital output) the minimum and maximum values of each measurement.
Would it be possible to test your GageWay solution (including software)? If so, how can this be organized?
Could you also provide me with the price of a GageWay (Pro4, for example) depending on the quantity ordered (1, 5, 10, or 50 units)? A quote for delivery within France would be appreciated.
