The RS-232 Remote is used when you have a stationary RS-232 serial device such as a scale or digital readout that you want to connect to the MobileCollect Wireless System.

• The serial port looks like a serial port on a PC and can accept data from any RS-232 serial device.
• Automatically detects baud rate and communication parameters for the connected RS-232 devices.
• Connect external read switch (hand switch, foot switch, etc.) to the RS-232 Remote so that you can send a user-defined command to your RS-232 serial device.
• Field upgradeable firmware.
• Range is 133 feet.
• Powered by an external AC adapter.
