Mitutoyo High Accuracy Gage Support - 06AGL011

We are excited to announce that we’re starting to support the new Mitutoyo High Accuracy Gages! These gages use new cables with the SF connector, such as the 06AGL011, and communicate via a new protocol from Mitutoyo. Mitutoyo Digimatic d2 Protocol allows gages to read 8 digits so that you can get even more accurate data.

After months of development and testing, MicroRidge can fully support the Digimatic d2 protocol for the Mini Mobile Module, Command Mobile Module, and the GageWay KW. You can upgrade Mini Mobile Modules and Command Mobile Modules if the field via any firmware 5.35 or later. To upgrade, head to our MobileCollect Firmware Updates or GageWay Firmware Updates page and download the firmware for your device. The GageWay KW cannot be upgraded in the field, but all new GageWay KW’s that are shipped will support the new Mitutoyo High Accuracy Gages.

We are working hard to update the GageWay Pro series and our MobileCollect Remotes to add full support for the Mitutoyo High Accuracy Gages. We’ll keep you updated as we add support to additional devices.
