The RS-232/USB Base receives measurements from Mobile Modules and Remotes. The base connects directly to a DB9 RS-232 serial port or USB port.  It requires a separate AC adapter when using the DB9 serial port.

Key Features:

  • Supports an unlimited number of Mobile Modules (transmitters) and Remotes (transmitters).
  • Configured by the MobileCollect Xpress or Extended Setup programs.
  • Field upgradeable firmware.
  • Range is up to 133 feet.
  • You can have several Bases adjacent to each other.  Each Base will only receive data from the Mobile Modules or Remotes that have been associated with the Base.
  • Data sent to the PC consists of standard RS-232 data that is accepted by virtually all SPC-DAQ software.
  • WedgeLink Xpress keyboard wedge and RF Sniffer included at no additional charge.

Using DB9 Serial Port

If your are going to use the DB9 serial port on this Base, you will need to supply your own AC adapter or purchase one of our USB AC Adapters.
